Fuel leakage is a common problem for used one. Find any breakage that might indicate fuel leakage. Check the cooling system, the cooling fan. Listen the roaring of the engine when the  seller starts it. Have a look on the  smoke, examine the smoke to know that if you need to overhaul the engine.

Then it comes to the arms, which should maintain the three sixty degree revolution. Do not forget to examine the arms, to check as it is working in the right way or not.
